Museos > The Port-Royal des Champs Museum

Looking out onto the ruins of the famous POrt-Royal des Champs Abbey in the Chevreuse Valley, the museum is housed in the building that in 1651-1652 the Solitaries ordered to be constructed to receive part of the students of the Petites Ecoles. Dedicated to the history of jansenism, of which the Abbey was one of its main seats, it brings together a great number of engravings and old books, several canvasses of Philippe de Champaigne as well as his atelier
