de Fontainebleau Museum
The Fontainebleau Castle, which records date back
to the 17th century, has housed within its wall all the important
souvereigns of France. Continuosly embellished by their care,
it is a unique example of a loved and regularly habited residence
for eight centuries. A most important place of the Renaissance
under François I, it was considerably extended under Henri
IV. Napoleon I, after having refurnished it entirely, said his
goodbys to the guard in 1814. The State and Private Apartments
sumptuously decorated will make you relive the great hours of
this royal residence. The Napoleon Museum will immerse you in
